by one of my friends in Kerala and he says its perfectly working.Inorder to try this trick you will need to buy a new Idea sim card.You will not be able to get 3G speed in your present sim by trying this trick.Buy a new Idea sim card which has free 3G data offer.There are Idea sim cards available with free 3G data usage of 250MB for one month.First use the free 3G data and make any further 2G recharge and get 3G speed for the whole month.After using the free 3G data,recharge with any 2G plans and enjoy downloads at 3G speed.For example you will get 500MB 3G data when you recharge with Rs 15 2G gprs plan.Make sure that you buy a new sim which has 3G data offer not 2G,because simply activating 3G and recharging with 2G plans will not give you 3G speed.Please note that you cannot get unlimited 3G with this trick.There are data usage limits and if you exceed the data you will charged at Idea 3G tariff.If you find this information helpful,remember to share this with your friends.
